Scottie Reeves was born October 19, 1965 in Shattuck, Oklahoma to Joyce Elaine and Thiril Ray Reeves. He passed away December 20, 2014 at Altus, Oklahoma at the age of 49 years, two months and one day.
Scottie spent his childhood in Canadian, Texas; Pampa, Texas and Cotton Center, Texas. He graduated from West Columbia, Texas High School. After graduation, he moved to Corpus Christi where he found work doing odd jobs and yard work. In 2001 Scottie moved with his mother back to the Sayre, Cheyenne area where he made his home. Scottie enjoyed fishing, taking care of his dogs, aggravating his mother, mowing yards and yard work.
He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Aretta Fay Caughron, Oscar Briggs, Johnnie B. Maples-Briggs and an uncle, Jim Briggs.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Peak, Sayre, Ok; brother, Robert Ray Reeves; step-brother David Wing, Sayre, OK and a host of other relatives and friends.
Services will be held December 24, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Chapel officiated by Kendell Hamilton. Burial will be at Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Condolences can be made online at www.whineryfs.com
