Ralph F. Ridgway, age 86 of Durham, died May 24 in the Roger Mills
Memorial Hospital
after an extended illness. Mr. Ridgway moved as a child with
his parents from eastern
Oklahoma to Pie Flat, north of Roll and has lived in
Roger Mills County ever since.
He was born May 24, 1890 in eastern Oklahoma. He
was married to Leddie Lusher
Oct. 18, 1920 in Cheyenne. He was a WWI Veteran
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. JoAnn Powers of Colorado
Springs, CO;
eight sons, Henry Lee, Ralph Jr. and Duane all of Lancaster, CA;
Andrew of San Jose,
CA; Billy Ray of Walnut, CA; Don, Vontana CA; Eugene of
Ontario, CA: Phil of Higgins,
Texas; 27 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren;
one brother Clyde Ridgway of Lancaster,
CA and one sister, Bertie Armstrong of
El Cajon, CA.
Memorial services were at the Crawford School auditorium with the
Rev. Lloyd Martin
officiating. Burial was in the Silent Home Cemetery under the
direction of Rose
Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne.
