Greg Shelton was born August 27, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Doris Marie Kendall and Donnie Lee Shelton. He passed away June 9, 2015 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years, 9 months and 12 days.
Greg grew up in Guymon, Oklahoma. After graduating from high school in 1977, he worked in the oilfield for a short time before attending meat cutting school at Burns Flat, Oklahoma. Greg worked as a Butcher for United Supermarket for ten years and a couple other markets. He made his home in Cheyenne and he later went to truck driving school and spent several years working as a long haul truck driver. His parents’ health began to fail, so Greg left trucking to care for his parents and continued to make his home in Cheyenne. He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his brother, Doug Shelton, Perryton, TX; his uncle, William D. Kendall, Aurora, CO; his aunt, Willa Jean Shelton, Reydon, OK; numerous cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
