SMITH, Dallas Earl

Dallas Earl Smith was born September 2, 1897 to G. and Rillie Smith in Brane County, Arkansas. He passed away February 25, 1964 at the age of 66 years, five months and three days.
In 1900 the family moved to Lincoln County, Oklahoma. In 1905 they moved to a farm west of Cheyenne where Earl grew to young manhood.
On December 2, 1917 he was married to Bertha Jackson of Cheyenne. To this union five children were born: Donavon, Elaine, Jack, Calvin and Carl Allen.
In 1918 Earl and Bertha moved to Sand Springs, Oklahoma.  In 1929 the family moved to Tucson, Arizona.
Earl attended school in Cheyenne and at Weatherford. He taught school two years in Roger Mills County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He worked for the Tucson Rapid Transit Bus Company for twelve years. Then for the P.F.E. Southern Pacific Railroad Company where he was still working.
His parents, two sons and a daughter preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn: his wife, Bertha and two sons, Donavon and Carl all of Tucson; two sisters, Pearl Hines of Tucson and Bessie Bodine of Pryor, Oklahoma; one brother, Leonard Smith of Denver Colorado and a host of relatives and friends.
