From Memphis, Texas News – Graveside services for Mr. Tommy Dan “Danny” Thompson, of Hammon, were held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas. Services are under the direction of Peppers Family Funeral Home in Memphis Texas.
Mr. Tommy D. Thompson, 61, went to be with The Lord on June 29, 2015 in Amarillo, Texas.
Mr. Thompson was born July 3, 1953 in Memphis, Texas, to the late Mr. Henry Thompson and Mrs. Jo (Norton) Thompson. On February 14, 1976, Danny married Drenda (Wiggins) Thompson in Clarendon, Texas. Mr. Thompson served in the United States Air Force and was a trucker for pipelines. He was an Agency Companion for Independent Opportunities, Inc.
Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife, Drenda Thompson of Hammon; his daughter, Tonda and husband, Roy Garrison of Elk City; his son, Todd Thompson of Hammon; two grandchildren, Tory and Guy Garrison of Elk City; two brothers, Caroll and wife D’Lynn Thompson of Rockdale, Texas, and Daryl and wife, Betty Thompson of Amarillo, Texas.
