WALLACE, Roxie Vivian (Harrison)

Roxie Vivian Harrison Wallace, 74, of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on April 10, 1940 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. She is the daughter of Bruce and Pearl (Sanford) Harrison. Vivian passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Elk City Nursing Home.
She attended grade school at Reydon, Oklahoma and attended high school in Allison, Texas. Vivian married her high school sweetheart, Jimmy Dale Wallace on December 2, 1955 in Allison, Texas. To this union three children were born.
Vivian and Jimmy were dedicated to their ministry since 1969 in the United Pentecostal Church in Calgary, Alberta, Canada; Raton, New Mexico and Elk City, Oklahoma since 2001.
She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends and being active in clubs like Home Extension and the Iris Garden Club. Vivian especially liked being a member of The Birthday Club Girls. She was a Celebrating Homes-Home Interior Decorating Consultant for twenty-six years.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Brother Hood will officiate, he will be assisted by Brother Rodney Shirel. Interment will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery in Elk City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wallace, of Elk City, Oklahoma; two daughters, Tina Lynette O’Donnell and her husband, Rev. Stephen, missionaries in Hong Kong; Janet Elaine Iacobelli and her husband, Ronald of Raton, New Mexico; granddaughters, Monica Hayes and her husband, Rev. Nathan of Dearborn, Michigan; Kimberly O’Donnell of Hong Kong, Ashley Powledge and her husband, Kevin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Samanta Iacobelli of Colorado Springs, Colorado; four great-grandchildren, Madison, Micah, Caleb and Brooklyn Hayes all of Dearborn, Michigan; brother, Willis Harrison and his wife, Mary of Rockwall, Texas; sister-in-law, Johnnie Harrison of Amarillo, Texas; uncles, Hershel Sanford and his wife, Anne of Higgins, Texas; Elmer Lee Sanford and his wife, Peggy of Stinnett, Texas; aunt Veta Faye Harrison and Martin Duran; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Vivian is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Wallace; parents, Bruce and Pearl Harrison; sister and brother-in-law, Louise and Clifton Boydston; brother, Darrel Harrison; grandparents, Jerry and Maude Myers Harrison, Charles and Roxie Laney Sanford.
