LeRoy Weatherly, 71, of Hammon, Oklahoma was born on March 17, 1945 in Elk City, Oklahoma. He is the son of Melvin Dean and Floreta (Fitzgerald) Weatherly. LeRoy passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in Clinton, Oklahoma.
LeRoy enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
LeRoy served his country in the United States Navy. He returned home and spent many years working.… He was a member of the Hammon First Baptist Church.
LeRoy married his best friend and sweetheart Nannie L. Woodhouse on June 7, 2002 in Wheeler County, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma. Interment will be held at Merritt Cemetery in Merritt, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.
LeRoy is survived by his wife. Nannie Weatherly; son, Charlie Snow of Hammon, Oklahoma; daughter, Dalawna Bigger of Lawton, Oklahoma; two brothers, Felix Weatherly of Burkburnett, Texas, and Ricky Weatherly and his wife, Janet of Elk City, Oklahoma; Sister, Crystal Marple and her husband, Lawson of Duncan, Oklahoma; Uncle Vic Weatherly and his wife, Lucille of Elk City, Oklahoma; four grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin (Punch) and Floreta Weatherly; brother, Johnny Weatherly; and sister Treva Cook.
