WILSON, Raymond E.

Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, July 31, in the Crawford gymnasium for Raymond Edward “Bill” Wilson of the Crawford community. Rev. Richard G. Benefield, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Cheyenne, officiated.
Raymond Edward “Bill” Wilson was born December 2, 1904 in Roger Mills County and departed this life July 28, 1972 at the age of 67 years, seven months and 26 days at his home in the Crawford community. Mr. Wilson lived all of his life in Roger Mills County.
In 1929 he was married to Leona Castle. He is survived by his wife, Leona, of the home; one daughter Mrs. Billie Reynolds of Crawford; one son Eddie Wilson of Crawford and by four sisters: Florence Hooper of Cheyenne, Roberta Ridgeway of Crawford, Alice Wilson of Oklahoma City and Ruth Cantrell of Woodward and by one brother Dene Wilson of Ft. Supply, Oklahoma.
Mr. Wilson is also survived by five grandchildren: Ricky, Becky and Vicky Wilson of Crawford; Alexis Gay and Larry Don Reynolds of Crawford.
Pallbearers were Steve Schmidt, Jack Lucas, Lee Townsley, Ralph Coon, Lecil Ator and Charlie Gilliland.
Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery under the direction of Scroggins and Son Funeral Chapel of Cheyenne.
